8 inches across in size. Hinged where the top will flip open. The latch part is broken and does not latch. Does stay closed. Not sure if it works. As found condition. Cap opening is 2 1/4". Glass looks great. Has a great patina look. Dog bones are nice and straight. Look at pictures.
